What is an overlock machine?
Differing from a regular sewing machine, an overlock machine, also known as a serger, uses multiple loops and threads to create durable, resilient seams. Designed to seal fabric edges and join pieces together, an overlock machine is especially useful for knit fabrics and garments. It can trim, stitch and overcast seams in one operation.

Why do I need an overlock machine?
An overlock machine offers many benefits.
1.Unlike a regular sewing machine, a serger overlock machine uses multiple threads (up to five threads simultaneously) for stitching. The threads are interlaced with each other to form highly elastic seams. Thread overlock covers the raw edges of the fabric and provides a professional finish by trimming burrs, preventing fraying and ensuring seams are neat and durable.
2.Intelligent feeding system: automatic identification of fabric thickness, support continuous production, reduce downtime, and improve efficiency. It runs faster than a sewing machine, allowing you to tackle more complex projects faster. It is equivalent to the efficiency of 6 skilled workers.
3.Because of their strong and flexible overlock feature, it is ideal for knitted, stretch and woven fabrics. It can also work with heavy linen, fleece and denim fabrics.
4.Additionally, overlocking machines are capable of sewing decorative edges and seams that enhance the overall quality and appearance of your project.
